Duo Vilja Acrobat Contortionist twins
Ever since their early childhood, Jenny and Sara knew that they wanted to become professional circus artists. At the age of 13, they made their debut in a youth circus, performing a clown act with a little pig. More importantly, during their time in the youth circus they also discovered the art of contortion, which was to change their lives forever. Soon, they were enrolled in a circus high school, where they learned the basics of acrobatics, juggling, tight wire and aerials. Following high school, they began performing all over Sweden, and throughout Europe. After working with social circus in Nepal, taking part in a youth circus festival in Germany, and performing with Cirkus Cirkör, Sweden’s most prestigious new circus company, the twins decided that they wanted to develop their already impressive performance skills even further. In 2005 they entered the professional college program at The National Circus School in Montreal. In the years since then, their act has progressed to a stunning vision, awe inspiring both technically and artistically.
