SDS TRIO
Phil Schuldt (bass, guitar), Jason Dirks (Drums), and Michael Strening Jr. (Piano) all met while writing the music for the independent film
“American Legacy” in the summer and fall of 2008. Excited and energized by what they scored together, they decided to formalize their partnership, and they have continued to compose and tour as the “SDS Trio”.
While combining elements of jazz, rock, and classical music, their music has proven difficult for them to categorize, and they welcome any suggestions.
Their CD - 'This is the SDS Trio' - is available for purchase and digital download at CD Baby and iTunes.

Le trio
Créé en février 2009, le Trio Althéa est né de la rencontre de trois professeurs du Conservatoire de Bourges (Cher) : Laurence Boutet, Tania Faur et Alain Pelletier. Cette rencontre s’est d’abord concrétisée autour des sonates pour orgue de Jean-Sébastien Bach, qui ont été transcrites pour une formation pour le moins originale : 2 flûtes traversières alto et marimba.

Ysaÿe Trio
The Ysaÿe Trio was founded in 2006 and has performed frequently throughout the Netherlands as well as in Sweden, Germany, Canada and Bulgaria. The trio performed live radio and television broadcasts from Festival Classique, Den Haag (NL) and Vrije Geluiden, Amsterdam (NL).
