Bluetooth File Transfer
Much like using a cellphone, Bluetooth file transfer is also using a radio wavelength to transmit signal and data connection. But the thing about bluetooth file transfer is that it only emits shortwave radio length enabling a short distance device to device connection along with a high security interface preventing a non authorized connection. It is also using a so called PAN or personalized area network which is a shorter version of LAN connection, but whats amazing is the synchronization process takes place wirelessly. The technoly has been introduced by electronic mogul Ericson in 1994 but currently being managed by Bluetooth Special Interest Group. The technology is using a so called frequency hopping spread spectrum that cuts the data into tiny pieces and send it out bit by bit up to 79 bands under 1MHz each bit. This is the improved standard for shortwave radio transmission since Gaussian frequency shift keying (GFSK) which is the mother of bluetooth technolgy. It is also using the packet-based protocol similar to master to slave scheme where in one master or otherwise known as the host server may connect to up to 7 slaves using piconet. All definitions within the communication process is being dictated by the master. Trough the years, Bluetooth has become a strong platform to many communication methods such as telefax, all sorts of computers, printers, GPS devices, game consoles and most specially mobile phones. Once the master let go and left the communication structure any slave can become the next master device but depends on the users agreement during session. Many electronic devices has intigrated Bluetooth in communicating several more devices for convenience. It would range from medical equipments to transmit test data's to the master computer after a medical test performed. Other uses includes connecting a wireless headset to ipods or multimedia phones to play music from the master device. When it comes to bluetooth file transfer, it is simply sharing information, hopping from device to another. If you have an existing application in your device like for example in your mobile phone. For you to be able to transfer a file, the other device should also posses the same software to be able to connect. Once ensured that the two devices have bluetooth softwares on them, just simply initiate the invite to another device by choosing the application from your mobile phone for an instance. the second device on the other hand has to accept the connectivity invite to be able to establish the connection, once done, you can then start to transfer the intended file towards the second device, easy right?
