Hello! Thank you for visiting my site.
Since the mid- 2000s, my photography has been a careful yet spontaneous collection of snapshots of what nature has to offer: being at the right place, at the right time. This has led to my fascination with the outdoors and has driven my entire life, from my chosen professions, to where I live.
My photography has a mission of educating the public, as well as adorning a home or business wall. My pictures have been used in educational weather books and magazines, as well as newspaper front pages.
My photography education has not followed a typical path. I am a police evidence technician and a crime scene photographer.
My knowledge of the environment comes from a late-in-life earned Associates Degree in Meteorology, and years of storm chasing across North America, from Indiana to Wyoming, and from Canada to Mexico during the spring and summertime.
I am motivated by an overwhelming sense of magnitude, from a seed head of a few millimeters, to a super cell thunderstorm miles wide.
It is my desire to share with you the beauty of life and of things living; things that you never thought were alive. Listen and you can hear the storms coming.
