Tequila Regional
Our ancestors have been part of the tequila industry since the beginning, from the cultivation to the
industrialization of Weber Blue Agave. Their traditions have been built and passed on from
generation to generation.
In the heart of Jalisco, the designated tequila region of Mexico, a visionary group of agave plant
growers joined forces around 1974 to create Empresa Ejidal Tequilera Amatitán. Since then, they have
demonstrated how to produce some of the region's finest tequila – Regional (pronounced 'Ray-he-o-nahl')
Tequila - which has won numerous awards for its quality and reputation, showcasing the history and
expertise of the producers.
Empresa Ejidal is comprised of 36 agave-producing farmers belonging to seven counties, uniting as one to
produce the best tequila the region has to offer. The partners are aficionados of the land, hand selecting
only the best agave plants from their fields to produce quality tequila with a family guarantee.
What makes Regional Tequila truly unique is the care taken by the partners in every aspect of cultivating
and production. The Regional process and product standards, which are approved by the Tequila Regulatory
Council, are passionately followed and protected through each step.
