Thank you for stopping by my site! As you can see from my various galleries I am interested in lots of different types of photography. My interest first began in travel photography, but since I don't get to travel all the time, photography starting spilling out into other parts of my life. I started taking pictures at events and parties I was attending and found that I was having so much fun discovering all the great pictures in the room! I have always had a lot of art in my life, starting with the hobbies of dance and piano when I was younger, and moving into a professional career in acting. As my love for photography has grown I think it is interesting to see how my experience with other types of art has informed the way I take pictures.
My photography experience includes training at School of Visual Arts and International Center for Photography, both located in New York City. In addition to my photography training I completed my undergraduate work at the University of Virginia with a double major in Drama and Economics. I am originally from Alexandria, VA where I grew up surrounded by family who has always been very supportive of my artistic endeavors. I've been living in the NYC area for the past six years with my husband and my cat, and the puppy who joined us a year ago :)
I am currently available to shoot events such as private parties, fundraisers, and performances. I also shoot portraits for families, individuals, and children. And I also do headshot photography.
