I have always loved photography. As a little girl, I would hide under the ironing board with a copy of National Geographic and look at all the amazing pictures. My first camera was a 110mm from a Kellog's Corn Flake box. I thought it was cool. Though my cameras now are much more sophisticated, I love simple cameras, and the simple act of clicking the shutter. Much thought goes on behind the lens; I hope you enjoy the images.

My love of photography began the moment I picked up my first camera. From dark room to digital my passion has evolved over the last four decades. In 2007, during my career as an infection control practitioner, I set up a small studio in my Vernon, B.C. home. Since retirement, I have devoted more time to my passion and love photographing people of all ages in any setting. My four children are also keen photographers (and help me shoot weddings) and so I have included their work in a gallery titled 'A Family Affair'.
