Museum on Main Street brings rural Americans one-of-a-kind access to prestigious Smithsonian exhibitions and first-rate educational programs. John Button, 1929-1982, was born in San Francisco and moved to New York City where he became friends with Fairfield Porter and Frank O'Hara and was part of the New York School of painters and poets.
