Cruisin The Drag: Classic Car Show - Down Town Great Falls, Montana
Remember when cruisin on Central Avenue was the best way to spend a weekend evening in Great Falls? Those times became the inspiration for what is now one of the largest car shows in Montana. Our website has lots of information about registering for the event, along with winners and photos from previous years. We'd love your support as a person with a car to show off, a sponsor, or as a visitor. See you on Central!

Preserving the Trails - Lewis and Clark Trail & Rivers Edge Trail
In 1998, the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center was built on the south shore, near Giant Springs State Park. At the time it was designed, the facility was purposely oriented toward the undeveloped portion of the Wilhelm property, with large sweeping windows offering an impressive view of the Missouri River and the north shore. Throughout the past eight years negotiations for the purchase of this 15-acre undeveloped tract of land continued, with little success. In 2006 the Wilhelm family completed its application and requirements for subdividing the raw land into three 5-acre parcels. With the property listed for sale through a realtor and advertised in the Multiple Listing Service beginning in March 2006, the property was at serious risk of being sold and developed at any time. Because the urgency of the situation required immediate action, the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center Foundation committed to purchase the land, knowing that the full purchase price would need to be raised to cover the cost.
