As a child, my family had the opportunity to live on beautiful nordic westcoast shores and I learned to snorkel with my brother and sister. As a young man, my first scuba dive literally changed my life. After years of flirtation, I fell completely, passionately, and irrevocably in love with nordic underwater world. I flirted with photography as well, but it was not until I began underwater photography that I finally took it seriously. Years of practical experience in developing personal comfort in an alien environment, gaining knowledge in the appropriate usage of photographic tools and familiarity with the ecosystem and marine behavior have been the best school anyone could attend.
My camera equipment is all Canon. Underwater, I like a neutrally buoyant Subal housing for my Canon DSLR. Subtronic strobes gives me the light that I want, and I shoot exclusively with the Canon 15mm,Canon 17-40mm and Canon 100mm. My interest is piqued by colour, texture, and pattern or an interesting creature, and I love to shoot wide angle
