Woodland House of Prayer
Calling the Church into Lifestyles of Devotion to Jesus Christ Our primary goal in establishing a House of Prayer, in Woodland, California, is to facilitate an atmosphere fully embracing Gods love. We desire to see God awaken the church through the intimate knowledge of Jesus and of His passionate, jealous love for the church. We call this revelation the Bridal Paradigm, found throughout the Bible, but especially in the Song of Solomon. An important part of the WHOP vision is to raise up Joel 2 forerunners that will become trumpeters of the Day of the Lord and live lifestyles of prayer and fasting. WHOP should be a fertile seedbed for missionaries to nations. One way to accomplish this is by having intercessory missionaries in the House of Prayer who serve God full-time or part-time as priests in the temple. We believe these forerunners are going to be birthed out of Houses of Prayer through revelation of prayer, intimacy and intercession. We invite the churches of Woodland to come together in the House of Prayer that we might cry out with one voice. In order to release this over the region, we commit to these values; 1. Humility - To be a people without offense toward God or one another 2. Unity - To have the mind of Christ for the city, not just one local church 3. Fervent, Sustained Prayer - Night and Day prayer as we see in Scripture through the Tabernacle of David and Isaiah 62:6-7
