Photography has always intrigued me from about the age of 9 when I got my first Kodak 110 camera. Imagine the Idea of writing with light! I just naturally was drawn to making pictures with a pencil or crayon or later with paint. But accuracy in the image always seemed to escape me and it was the one thing I really wished for. I found out many years later that artists search for impressions. What did I know, I was a kid.
As I found my voice in the art world, I discovered Landscapes and Buildings to be my forte so to speak. I could never get a drawing of a person to look quite like themselves. Thus enter the wonderful world of Photography! I found that capturing people and animals in their natural setting was not only intriging but amazingly satisfying.
As I mentioned before, Writing with LIGHT! what a concept! Seeing the world in a whole new way is a wonderful experience. Helping others to see what I see is priceless!
