Throughout history, every Musical Period has had a food associated with it. The Baroque Period: Mutton. Classical: Venison. Post-Modernism: A cigarette. Rock & Roll: The Pizza. Ah, the pizza. Listening to music and eating a pizza, you can't describe it. I wonder what Shakespeare would've said about that. He probably would've just strummed his air Lute and said, "Whoa."
Redballs Rock & Roll Pizza is the best pizza west of the Hudson River. Many of their pizza pies are named after places in New York, like Manhattan and the Bronx, because that's where these recipes were born. They've even garnered great reviews from the LA Weekly and the LA Times ("What are those things, Daddy?" "They were called newspapers, son.")
Rock & Roll Pizza has an extensive collection of Rock Videos, which adds to the fun atmosphere. The decor makes you feel like you're listening to the Ramones at Keith Richard's house, when suddenly Johnny Rotten shows up, and Keith decides to order a couple of pies. That's the kind of fun I'm talking about. On weekend nights, the place turns into a live music venue, which has featured members of The Cars, The Stooges, and The Circle Jerks.
There's a lot of pizza in this crazy world, but this pizza really rocks. Another great $20 for $10 deal.
All that, and I didn't make fun of their name once.
