Full-contact karate--no pads, no gloves. Open to all styles with top fighters from Japan, U.S. Canada, Europe, South America, and the Middle East. Single-elimination in three men's weight divisions and an open women's division. Develped by 1978 All-Japan Karate Champion and Grandmaster of Enshin Karate--Kancho Joko Ninomiya. The Sabaki Challenge is a Denver-based event that has grown into one of the most highly acclaimed international karate tournaments in the U.S. Now in it's 25th year.

Enshin Karate is practiced in 6 continents throughout the world by men, women and children. While everyone's reason for joining is different, the goal is to work together to strengthen each other. In this way, karate develops people who can live in harmony with the world and people around them. On a physical level, karate challenges one to look into the intentions of the opponent, to see their strengths and weaknesses.
