Welcome to Rulo Photography.
Hello, we are Tim and Di Rulo and we are passionate about photography. We love capturing those moments in your life that you can relive through your photos. Where you will cherish your memories for generations to come.
From babies to students, of your Wedding, to families of your own, all the way to your own grand babies. We want to be there for you.
Di and I were first introduced in the fall of 1975. Yes, Jr High school chorus and ensemble where we became friends. But with the advent of High school, different classes and circle of friends we didn't see much of each other. Until one night at church, I was standing in front of our congregation playing guitar and leading worship. Di walked in with her older sister and sat in the back. She was fresh out of college and back in town. A few months later we were dating. A few months later we were engaged. A few months later we were married. Old friends to this day. We have been married for 27 years and have raised a beautiful daughter, she was married in 2008 and they made us grandparents in August 2010.
Di and I have always loved weddings and I have loved photography. But it wasn't until the advent of digital photography that I was able to turn it from just a fancy into a passion. The first few weddings I did was for family and I was helping someone else. But the first time I shot as the primary photographer I was a nervous wreck but it came out so well in the end that we both knew this was what we wanted to do. We've been to Vegas, Jamaica, Colorado and of course locally to shoot weddings and its been a blast the whole time. Di and I both know that the wedding day is about the BRIDE and GROOM. It's not about the photographers ego and what THEY are going to do and then leave. We have learned that for us it's about being flexible, patient and understanding to meet the Brides needs first.
So through the years we have gathered an abundance of wisdom and fond memories... but we are still young enough to keep our parents shaking their heads. ;)
