From Andorra la Vella, and Ciudad Juarez, to the World. A collective Project originated in the municipality of Andorra la Vella on March 4th 2008. Based and inspired in the literary work of Ricardo Reis II, “Chosen Feet”, Dependientes Del Beat have been in charge of setting to music this piece with highly contagious beats. Now in day, they have let the Western World know that rhythm and poetry go hand by hand. Just one listen to No Dance era to shut the Mouth of the critics. In a critical review made by de Jean Otto Battuta Fifhais Haftonthon, I.A, from Boston, he said: “Dependientes del Beat have galvanized music and literature in such an unprecedented way living a great impulse to humanity. In Fact they have become touch stone for all artists. No one can deny that Dependientes del Beat have rejuvenated, reformulated and recontextualized music in Andorra”. Dependientes del Beat is made up by 2 creative musicians with an extensive musical career: Leonart Maurice St. Jean de Luz y Joaquim Coppola. Other guest artists include the sisters D’ana y Albani Batista, E.d.d.i. and the author himself, Ricardo Reís III. Both Leonart and Joaquim have been creating different “franchises” of their Works, collecting the best musicians around in each town for them to execute the music without the need of Leonart and Joaquim being present. Thus, they don’t just mark a new era in artistic creativity but they also give the World a new style of scenic virtuosity.
