The Other Side of the Water
The Other Side of the Water is a documentary-in-progress that explores what happens when a group of young immigrant musicians take an ancient music from the hills of Haiti and reinvent it on the streets of Brooklyn. Using the vibrant and explosive music as a lens, this documentary will reveal a rarely-seen portrait of music and cultural activism in the Haitian-American experience.
