The wood found in Apataki is unique and leads to beautiful forms of natural grace. Tahiti features many and very interesting types of wood, so the possibilities are infinite. Woody spends half his time in Apataki with his pearl farm where he produces black pearls to add to his “sculptural art jewellery”, and when he needs to collects the beautiful Kahaia wood for his larger sculptures. The other half of his time in Moorea with his family… Woody Howard’s, recognizable style of sculptural art jewellery features the marriage of Tahitian black pearls with creative fluid sculptured settings. More than 30 years of sculpture experience has continually evolved Woody’s award winning unique line of jewellery. Beautiful Tahitian black pearls are selected exclusively from Woody’s private pearl farm, Black Pearl Paradise, located on the island of Apataki, Tuamotu island chain, French Polynesia that produces pearls of outstanding quality.
