Partition Table Doctor
The partition table doctor is the subject for this article. To a person who lacks a real knowledge about computers, that could mean anything (and it did to me, in fact). But the partition table doctor is simply a computer program meant to help out with damages done to the hard-drive (or other things that make it less than optimally functioning). In fact, if what this site says about it is true, this is the only existing software able to recover partitions, or do repairs of them. Can the partition table doctor be used also to make repairs of an external-harddrive (meaning one that isn't existing as part of the PC, but as an addition that you put into the usb-port)? Yes, it can. If you have a boot-problem, with your PC, can this be fixed using the partition table doctor? Yes, that is a possibility, as well. If you have a very, very old computer - on which you are using DOS, rather than newer operational systems - can the partition table doctor still be used? Sure. With that one, as well as with all the Windows-systems up until the two thousand and three edition.
