The Retreat at Art Omi
The Retreat is located at the Art Omi International Arts Center Ghent, N.Y. During the spring and summer, this not-for-profit organization hosts international residencies for artists, photographers. musicians and writers. The Retreat stands high atop a bluff overlooking the Hudson Valley and the Catskill Mountain Range. On its 300 acres, there are meadows, woody knolls, wetlands and open fields. Throughout this glorious natural setting are 70 sculptures, created by such notables as Alexander Lieberman, Beverly Pepper and Grace Knowlton. November 1st to March 31st, the Retreat is available for the exclusive use of one group for meetings, retreats, photo shoots and family/friends vacation getaways. All proceeds from The Retreat are used in support of the Artists' Programs.
