Many original equipment or period correct tires are not being reproduced and some never will be. If you have an unusual vehicle, or even a popular one which isn't "old enough" yet, there may be no choice but to locate good original tires in order to complete a quality restoration. I have parted out cars which still had an unused spare tire in the trunk, one which never touched the ground or had the misfortune of being exposed to the elements. Unfortunately a single obsolete tire is of little value unless it can be combined with others in order to complete a set for an authentic restoration project. Vintage compact spare tires are also in demand by restorers. Car owners and restorers alike are encouraged to submit tires for sale or wanted notices at no cost. Please include all information as well as an accurate description if you have one or more tires available for sale or trade.
