NGOネットワークジャパンは、日本の国際協力を支援している国際協力ＮＧＯのポータルサイトです, NGO network JAPAN is a non-profit, non-partisan networking NGO founded in 1998 by Mr.Hayato Takizawa who saw the need to better coordinate activities in Japanese society and facilitate communication with overseas groups.
NGO network JAPAN Aims to:
* inform to people about information of Japanese NGOs activity;
* foster closer relations among Japanese NGOs engaged in international cooperation;
* provide services for NGOs' sound development;
* encourage networking among domestic and international NGOs and related organizations;
* encourage dialogue between NGOs and other sectors of society;
* deepen Japanese public understanding of and support for NGO activities and international cooperation; and
* conduct research on NGOs and international cooperation.
NGO network JAPAN's Vision
To contribute to the realization of a global society where people are liberated from hunger, poverty and the violation of human rights, where people live in harmony with their natural surroundings, where people are assured of equal and fair opportunity to participate in choosing the direction of their society, and where people mutually respect diverse cultures and values, while living together.
NGO network JAPAN's Mission
* To promote networking and collaborative activities among citizen organizations (NGOs) engaged in international cooperation
* To strengthen the institutional capacity of NGOs to carry out their missions
* To disseminate information and knowledge concerning people's living conditions in developing regions of the world and the impact of the general public's way of life on these people.
* To enlighten the general public about the role of NGOs and encourage them to participate in NGO activities.
