MICHAEL JAY | Jambo Studios, Los Angeles
Michael Jay was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He attended high school at Niles North where, in 2002, he was named 'Alumni Of The Year'. He then continued his education at Lincoln College in Lincoln, Illinois, where he was the music director of their college radio station WLNX-FM for two years.
Following that, he moved on to Illinois State University. Michael then discovered a teenage Cuban-American singer named Martika. He brought her to Sony Music where he wrote and produced her debut album which included the worldwide #1 hit 'Toy Soldiers.'
Following that hit came years of songs being recorded by many top artists including Celine Dion, Kylie Minogue, Jon Secada, Mandy Moore, Lara Fabian, Peter Allen, and many others.
Today, Michael owns Jambo Studios in Los Angeles where he continues to write and produce songs for big stars as well as for new and delevoping talent.
