Marko and Associates is the educational consulting firm dedicated to inspiring passion in teachers. Staff development it the focus and the firm remains current reading ASCD materials as well as National Staff Development, and Step Up to Writing. Marko and Associates takes an in-depth look at each individual teacher, the school and develops workshops, in-services, and curricula to improve the school and the school district. Much curriculum is used. Mentoring, reading strategies, and interactive learning are a focus, as well as the 21st century learner. Ideas on dealing more affectively with No Child Left Behind can be shared.
Jane Elizabeth Marko has nearly 20 years experience in education teaching many grade levels as well as administrating a district reading program. Presently, one of her interests includes teaches for the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction. She also facilitated a masters program for Cardinal Stritch University. As a classroom teacher, Jane Elizabeth received the Kohl Fellowship Award in 2001 identifying her as a teacher of excellence. She develops strong curriculum that asks the students to higher level thinking and rise to their highest potential. Collaborative teaching and authentic learning are always her goal. Jane is a certified trainer for Step Up to Writing. She is certified to teach 1-6 regular education, k-12 reading, and hold a k-12 principalís license.
