The LOAD SHED A/C works on the principal of downsizing your generator and still have the use of two or more air conditioners.
Each LOAD SHED A/C alternates between two air conditioners. Each air conditioner is on its own timer while in generator mode. When the time expires on the first A/C units timer, the second A/C unit kicks in until its time expires, then back to the first again. You may use up to fifteen Load Shed A/C's together on one generator.
Instead of sizing a generator to power two or more air conditioners to run at the same time, use the Load Shed A/C on a smaller generator and still have all the air conditioning.

The LOAD SHED A/C PLUS works on the same principal of downsizing your generator, shunting loads as large as 200 Amps automatically while in generator mode.
Each LOAD SHED A/C PLUS installs in conjunction with the Load Shed A/C to control the air conditioners and the Load Shed A/C Plus will turn off any size load up to 200 Amps at 120V, 208V, 240V, 277V or 480V automatically while in generator mode. You may use up to nine Load Shed A/C Plus' together on one generator. The Load Shed A/C Plus may be a stand alone solution as well.
When installing a 'whole service' type transfer switch to gain flexibility of the each circuit to be on the backup generator, the Load Shed A/C shuts off large loads allowing a smaller generator to be installed. There are always large loads or entire sub panels that do not need to be on while in generator mode. The Load Shed A/C Plus allows these large loads or entire sub panels to be safely and automatically shut off while in generator mode, then automatically turns these loads back on when switching back into utility mode. The Load Shed A/C Plus allows you to purchase a smaller generator for the size of all your loads minus the loads or entire sub panels that will automatically shut off in generator mode, thus shedding money spent on a large generator set.
