Monica Wesolowska
Monica Wesolowska received her B.A. in English from Reed College, focusing on creative writing. Since then, she has published fiction, non-fiction, and poetry in many venues including the anthologies Best New American Voices 2000 and the New York Times best seller My Little Red Book as well as in literary journals such as The Carolina Quarterly, Quarter After Eight, and online at Literary Mama. She has been a finalist in numerous contests (thrice at Glimmer Train), has had her work performed in the New Short Fiction Series in Los Angeles, and is the recipient of a fiction fellowship from the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown. Since 2002, she has taught fiction writing at the University of California, Berkeley Extension as well as privately. She grew up in Berkeley where she currently resides with her husband and two young sons.
