International Martial Arts Games 2011
The event will be held in frameworks of the cultural program: «Tallinn 2011 Cultural capital of Europe». The description: The World Martial Art Games is a grandiose international event that includes competitions in various kinds of combats, festival of martial arts and national folklore, an exposition of creativity of various nations of the world and other cultural actions. The competitive program unites more than 10 kinds of combats which number increases with every Games. In fact, it is a kind of Martial Arts Olympic Games. Games are held every two years since 2004. In 2008 of Game were organized in Bangkok (Thailand). Representatives from more than 50 countries took part in them. The President of GAISF Hein Verbruggen attended the Games as the guest of honour at solemn opening.
