Katakana Translation. Katakana is very ancient set of writing characters and symbols and is from Kanji civilization. It came into existence during the Heian Period. Katakana is actually those set of symbols and characters that are used in both ancient and modern Japanese language. These characters are mostly short in length and are always written in straight strokes. These symbols are always in a sequence of specific order. And this ordering system can only be in two ways, one is iroha ordering and the second one is gojuon ordering system. In start there were different words that have the same meaning in Japanese but latter on these all words were made in specific sequence and now there is almost only one word to describe one meaning. The Japanese uses this Katakana as their national language and except for the Chinese documents; all other foreign documents are translated using these characters. Before 20th century Japanese used to document their records in Kanji. And up to 1988, the language used even for the purpose of telegram in Jan was also Katakana. Even the computer that were used at that time, used to have the operating system in Katakana.
