John D. Carnessiotis Photography
John D. Carnessiotis is a lawyer by profession, but a photographer and a writer at heart.
Based in Athens, Greece, and infatuated with photography since the mid 70's. His passion is the Greek islands and, more particularly, the Aegean Sea. He's more often than not looking for the beauty and the truth hidden in little details in the human and natural environment.
His photography has been published in magazines such as the "Popular Photography" (April 2009 issue) and sites such as the CNN.com, the EU Observer etc.
He's also the author of a recently published bilingual (Greek & English) photo book on the Dodecanese island of Kassos, a rather remote island between Rhodes and Crete, Greece.
Future projects include an all-inclusive photo book on the world famous Mykonos island, that will document all aspects of life and times on the island as well as its unique landscapes and architecture.
