Haim Shtrum | Haim Shtrum Composer and Violinist
Haim Shtrum, composer and violinist, was born in Tel-Aviv, Israel. He came to the United States as a student of Dorothy DeLay and Louis Persinger at the Juilliard School in New York City. While there, he also studied with Isidore Cohen, Felix Galimir, Bernard Wagenaar and Jacob Druckman. He was the recipient of the Serge Koussevitzky Fellowship to the Tanglewood music Center and also received the Leventritt Music Foundation Chamber Music Scholarship.

Impresariat-Simmenauer
Das Impresariat wurde 1989 von Sonia Simmenauer in Hamburg gegründet, mit dem erklärten Ziel, eine Agentur ausschließlich für Streichquartette zu sein. Zu den ersten Künstlern gehörten u.a. das Alban Berg Quartett, das Cleveland Quartett und das Guarneri Quartett, die das Impresariat bis zu ihrem Abschied von der Bühne begleitete. Später stießen Solisten dazu, die, wie Kim Kashkashian es damals ausdrückte, kammermusikalisch betreut werden wollten.
2009 hat das Impresariat seinen Sitz nach Berlin verlegt und Ekkehard Jung trat als Partner der Agentur bei. Heute vertritt das Impresariat in Europa- bzw. Weltweit international respektierte Solisten, Dirigenten und Streichquartette.
