Thanks for coming to my website! Below is a personal "blurb" about me and beyond that is the business side of things I offer through Hannah Lea's Photography. So if you want to scroll past the first paragraph, that's OK, I'll never know.
My love of photography started very young and grew with me. I took photography classes in high school as a graduation present to myself I decided to get a nice camera. My dad told me I should get a digital camera because film was on its way out. I chose to ignore him because I loved being in the dark room too much and didn't want to give up the joy I found as I watched my pictures develop in front of me. So I bought a Canon AOS E2, which I referred to as my "baby". I continued to take photography classes in college. I majored in Fine Arts yet went down an entirely different career path. Throughout the years I did photo shoots here and there. I specialized in babies and preferred to use black & white film. All my clients were referrals. My parents encouraged me to pursue photography as a full time career but I feared that I would lose the joy it brought me if I turned it into a paycheck. Silly girl. Turns out my dad was right (don't tell him that) and 10+ years later I finally got a new digital camera. Although I was hesitant to replace my "baby", I have to admit that I love my new Panasonic Lumix FZ35 (no nickname yet). It presents me possibilities that film never did: instant viewing, editing, manipulating color, touch-ups, etc. Although I honestly enjoy my day job, I now realize that photography will always bring me joy, so it might as well bring me a paycheck too. : ) So I'm taking a leap of faith and offically launching Hannah Lea's Photography. OK, I guess it's not really a leap considering I still have my day job and plan to keep it, but that's beside the point. I'm just excited to pursue this and have the opportunity to create tangible memories for you and your family to cherish.
OK - down to business........
Types of Photo Shoots:
I am extremely flexible and want to provide you with what YOU want:
- Studio look with backdrops, props, etc.
- Candids
- Outdoors, Scenic, Flowers
- Families, Kids, Babies, Pets, etc.
- Graduation
Locations:
I don't have a studio which allows me the freedom to come to you or meet you somewhere, depending on the type of shoot you want. I live in Hammond, WI and work in St. Paul, MN so I consider most of the metro area and surrounding suburbs local. If it's more than an a hour's drive there may be an additional charge.
Cost:
My fee is $75 for up to an hour. I don’t “cap” the number of pictures I take, I just want to be sure I get what everyone wants. Number of people/animals doesn’t matter. If time goes over an hour it is $15 for each additional 15 minutes. So another full hour would only be $60, not $75.
Prints
I am not set up yet to place orders through this website and currently use a different vendor. You can order prints but the option most people prefer (including me) is purchasing an edited disc of all the pictures for $50. Additional discs/release forms can be purchased for $15 each. I check the color, cropping, etc. of each shot. If you’re interested I can also include black & white and/or sepia copies. I retain the permanent rights to the photographs, and will have everyone sign a form. In return I will supply a written release to allow printing anywhere you take it.
Photo Merchandise
I have disabled the "shopping cart" on this site because I use a different vendor.
Just let me know what you want and I can get it:
Mugs, Mouse Pads, Photo Cards, Announcements, Photo Books, & More
Thanks!

Home of HOT SHOTS Sports Photography by Roger Schultz-
I am Roger Schultz of Hot Shots Sports Photography and I THANK YOU for visiting my website.
Please click on the galleries tab at the top of this page to view a category that interests you. Be aware this site contains over 51,000 images I have shot over the past few years. Find your favorite gallery and click on the "Slideshow" button and enjoy the show. Once you have found that special image click on the "Purchase" button and follow the instructions. You will be guided through the process without any commitment to make a purchase at this point. You will be shown prices, paper quality, merchandise options, as well as image sizes related to the photo you have chosen. If you would prefer to have a custom collage, poster, or magazine cover made just contact me with the details. All images are printed by a high quality lab, expertly packaged, and mailed directly to your door.
If you have an event you wish to have professionally photographed, please contact me with the when and where. I am a busy parent of two young boys who themselves are actively involved in local sports so I know what it is like trying to enjoy a game while at the same time trying to take photos. I have invested allot of money in this obsession, purchasing the best Nikon equipment out there, so you don't have to.
I also am part of the "MAXPREPS" professional photographers network. MaxPreps is the CBS affiliated web site for High School Varsity Sports Nationwide. You can check that site out at www.maxpreps.com. I try to shoot as many high school sports as I can to give them the recognition they deserve as hard working high school student athletes.
I am also doing location portraits. My equipment is portable so I can do group or individual sittings on location. Senior portraits, family photos, or sports teams, it is all possible.
Please support my obsession by purchasing photos from my site. All images are copyright protected and are for personal use only. Please do not try to download images or use screen capture software to copy these images to your computer, this is stealing. I am not doing this to get rich, I am just trying to be good at what I do and provide you with a high quality image you can always treasure.
If you are interested in purchasing photos from the 2010 Boys Basketball Jaycee Tournament Please contact me for more information.
PRICE INCREASE. Unfortunately I have increased prices for all images and merchandise starting with this year's high school basketball season. The change is a result of my continued obsession with the desire to bring you the absolute best image out there of your athlete in action. I hope you can understand.
