Maykadeh
Maykadeh is a Persian name that means Tavern. Persian Sufi poets traditionally use wine as a symbol for Divine intoxication. The wine seller is seen as the Giver of Divine Grace. Madness, or drunkenness, is merely a reference to the inner ecstasy of communion with God. It is a delightful paradox that the Sufis use worldly imagery to describe that which is beyond the world.
