The ability of Africans to make, by hand, pieces of art that communicate their inner feelings is formidable. In Countries like Zimbabwe, unemployment has made people realise that earning a living is not only through formal employment, but by using a "God Given Gift" to produce, by one's hands, something unique to sell.
Small co-operatives made up of mostly extended family members are springing up in all corners. These co-operatives produce amazing and unique art and craft, which is a blend of the modern and practical world we live in, but with an African touch & twist.
