A Heart Felt Thanks For Your Support
The 19th annual HeartBeat 5K and Healthy Heart Fair, held on Saturday, May 8 at Texas Health Dallas, was quite a success. A crowd of more than 750 runners and walkers trekked the challenging 5K course for a good cause. Thanks to the support of our generous sponsors and race participants, more than $65,000 was raised.

Greer Garson Gala
2009 Greer Garson Gala
Emulating the style that embodied the late Academy Award-winning actress and long-time Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas supporter, Greer Garson, Texas Health Presbyterian Foundation will host its annual fundraising Gala named in her honor with elegance, distinction and a great philanthropic cause-to support Parkinson's disease research and programs and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Texas Health Dallas.
In 2008, the signature fundraising Gala netted more than $280,000, approximately 110 percent of the initial fundraising goal of $250,000. The event set a new fundraising record for the cause in the Gala's nearly 20-year history.
The 2009 Greer Garson Gala was held on Oct. 10 at the Hilton Anatole Hotel and was anticipated to raise approximately $250,000. Co-chairs were Kara and Austin Adam and Jeannie and Nathan Denton.

2009 Black Tie Ball
Texas Health Kaufman Black Tie Ball
Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Kaufman held its second annual Black Tie Ball on Nov. 14, 2009, to benefit women's and children's services. More than $45,000 was raised to help purchase a portable OB sonogram machine for the Emergency Department.
