SHORT BIO VERSION: Loves photography!!
THE NOT SO SHORT BIO VERSION:
Born and raised in New York City, Mr. George Freire has been fascinated by photography ever since he first look into the "Classic Red ViewMaster" at the age of 4. The ViewMaster taught him two valuable lessons. 1) There is a world out there larger than New York City and the 7 line train and 2) Photographs can be powerful, inspiring and tell a great story. Of course, this became clear to him not at the age of 4 but later in his years ;-)
Graduate from New York Institute of Photography, with free lance work experience involving weddings, model portfolio, nightclub photography, business portraits to name just a few. One of his many dreams is to be given the opportunity to photograph the Earth from the moon but in the interim his style of photography has not changed, which is to make remarkable images!!
The photographs of his left foot is a tribute to Christy Brown as a reminder that all is possible regardless of what cards you been dealt with and that "A journey of a thousand miles begins with one small step" - Chinese Proverb.
