Mr. Earl's Gallery
Earl's studio has been located in the French Quarter for ten years.
The one-hundred-year-old building and courtyard that houses his studio is a pleasant respite from the hustle and bustle just outside the door. Earl grew up in Ossun, Louisiana (near Carencro). In the 40's and 50's this tiny rural community consisted of six buildings and didn't so much as have a
blinking light, to slow traffic. Earl began painting during the late 70's and early 80's, when he owned and operated Judge Roy Bean's and the Beef & Ale restaurants, in Lafayette, Louisiana. He will readily admit, he knew nothing about painting, but says he thoroughly enjoyed the learning experience
