David Ambrosio - Bass & Bata
David Ambrosio is an in-demand bassist, composer and educator living in NYC for for over 20 years. His versatility as musician is apparent by his involvement in many styles of music ranging from Jazz and Brizilian music to Afrocuban folkloric music. David also has been playing the afrocuban bata drums and the sacred music of the Lukumi in Cuba for the past 8 years. He is currently teaching a bata drumming workshop that is part of a new, jazz music education organization called the New York Jazz Academy.
