Joanna Durrant - Theta Healing, NLP, & Reiki ~Classes and Sessions Available~ Theta Healing has been a part of my life for six years. My first experience was in Sedona, AZ and the woman was working with a room full of people. It was amazing to me that she was able to make changes on all of us at the same time. I met her later in San Diego, CA and had a mini Theta session with her. It blew my mind the things she could see inside me. In that moment I knew I had to learn how she was able to do what she was doing. Every day you reach a Theta brain wave when you fall asleep and when you wake up. It is the dream-like state where you are seeing pictures and still feeling connected to them. When we consciously connect to the Theta brain wave, and everyone can do so, we are able to access Source Energy. From that place, all is possible. As humans, we run little programs inside ourselves and some of those programs are unknown to us. However, they are affecting what we manifest. There are negative beliefs in all of us that can keep us emotionally and/or physically bogged down. Everything on this planet is energy. No matter what is broken down and studied under a microscope, science continually finds we are all made up of the same things. If this is true, then everything is part of us and we are part of everything. This means we can connect and tap into Universal Life Source Energy, or God, because it is already inside us. For me this is an inspiring thought, and one that has no boundaries. Theta is a unique modality in that we are using that connection to create our lives. We can change beliefs, illnesses, feelings, and patterns that are not positive resources for us. My hope is that many people will experience, learn, and teach others Theta Healing. If you were to connect your brain to an electroencephalograph — an EEG machine –you could literally watch your brain move into the Theta wave. From that place your vibration level automatically goes up. When we powerfully raise our vibration level, the levels of people around us go up as well. I picture how beautiful this world can be when humans exist in a space of peace and acceptance. I tell my clients and students to dream big and watch what happens; this is my reminder to dream big and know that that picture of the world is possible. Neuro-Linguistic Programming, or NLP, is like having a guide for your brain. We are not commonly taught how to feel, or how to have great successes in our lives and relationships. NLP is used as a set of tools and skills wherein you can use your brain, body, and feelings to manifest what you want in your world, and to communicate and be understood clearly. NLP changes with people, in flow with the ebb of life, to assist you in improving how you think, act, feel, and succeed. NLP can also be about self discovery; an understanding of who you are that serves you and what you want. It can relate to a more spiritual side of your experience here and connect you to yourself, your family and friends, your culture and community. NLP is about creative vision and the wisdom already within you. Reiki is an amazingly relaxing modality. It comes from two Japanese words “Rei” which means “Universal Wisdom or God” and “Ki” which means “Energy”. In short, Reiki is Life force Energy that can be spiritually guided; meaning no matter where the practitioner puts their hands, the energy is going to go into the client’s body where it is most needed. Reiki serves both physical and emotional health. It can cleanse the body of toxins and often assists other therapeutic techniques in alleviating stress and promoting health.
