Florencio Glass Studio - Buffalo, New York, featuring artwork by owners, Marcelo Florencio and Susannah Florencio. Using flameworking as technique and glass as his medium of choice, Marcelo Florencio creates objects with a recognizable form - vases, goblets, birds - to share his love of glass, his inspiration from nature and his life in Brazil. With an eye for design, Susannah Florencio uses glass to mix colors and arrange patterns for jewelry and fused glass tiles. She uses her experience with jewelry sales and love of gemstones to create jewelry that is truly unique. No two pieces in her collection are alike. Each piece starts with a specially designed glass bead centerpiece and is complemented by glass accent beads, natural gemstones and sterling silver. Florencio Glass Studio provides students and artists with a safe, spacious and comfortable work environment in a state-of-the-art facility.
