Finding Forever was founded by Dobie Houson to raise money for animal rescues and animal charities through writing and art projects.
An estimated 4 to 5 million dogs and cats are abandoned each year, dropped off at animal shelters or simply abandoned to fend for themselves in the streets. Of those who make it to animal shelters, half are euthanized.
Through Finding Forever.org , Houson hopes to educate others to the plight of homeless animals and to raise awareness regarding the many rescue groups including Coastal German Shepherd Rescue. Eventually she hopes to create an online network to help people locate and support local rescue efforts that are near and dear to their hearts.
A portion of all sales from her book Finding Forever: The dogs of Coastal German Shepherd Rescue will be donated to Coastal German Shepherd Rescue.
