Plenty of time spent outdoors in the fresh air, time spent with some of the most magnificent wildlife on the planet, days and weeks in Africa's wildest places and finally nights spent under starry skies with great company!
Early days of my life were spent barefoot and carefree on a large cattle ranch in the south east of Zimbabwe, boarding school allowed the love of the outdoors to flourish with weekends spent camping and occasional museum collecting expeditions to join.
Leaving school was the beginning of a wonderful working life, camel assisted walking safaris, guiding out of luxury lodges in Zimbabwe and Kenya and then a golden opportunity to live and work in one of Africa's most remote and untouched National Parks; Katavi in Tanzania.
With photographic opportunities literally around every corner when on safari an interest in photography was a natural path. Completely self taught, and still learning, the opportunities to capture stunning images are endless.
Today I put together and lead bespoke safaris across East and Southern Africa, with an emphasis on wilderness, exclusivity and more than anything a desire to give the ultimate experience. The quote "the more I practice, the luckier I get" could not be more true, and I set out on every safari with the hopes of capturing better images.
