La duquesa de Alba.
Cayetana Fitz James Stuart y silva, conocida popularmente como La Duquesa de Alba, nación en Madrid el 28 de marzo de 1926.
Descendiente directa del rey jacobo II de Inglaterra, ostenta el record Guinness de posesión de titulos nobiliarios.
5 veces duquesa, 18 veces marquesa, 20 condesa, vizcondesa, condesa-duquesa y condestablesa ha sido además nombrada en 14 ocasiones Grande de España.
Como ella misma relató no gozó de una infancia feliz debido a la tuberculosis padecida por su madre y que acabó con su vida a los 33 años.
Junto con su familia se refugió en Londres al comienzo de la 2ª Guerra Mundial. Fue allí donde tuvo oportunidad de codearse con gente de la categoría de Tolstoi, con cuyo hijo compartía aula.
Una vez regresó a España, se casó con Pedro Luis Martinez de Irujo y Artazcoz con quien tuvo 6 hijos y del que enviudó
En 1978 se casó con el exsacerdote jesuíta Jesús Aguirre con quien compartió vida hasta el fallecimiento de este.
Actualmente mantiene una relación con el funcionariro Alfonso Diez con quien protagoniza las portadas de las revistas del corazón en más ocasiones de las que ella quisiera. .
