DOA is a son of NYC. born and raised in New York City.
He started playing piano when he was five years old and his creative musical compositions were influenced by his Jazz musician Grandfather who played with the Greats. While he studied classical music, he always wanted to make his own songs which he began notating when he was seven years old. Hip Hop has been an important focus of his work in music, but his interests are very varied and included film, commercials, Rhythm and Blues, and other genres involving music. Music is a universal language and he has much to say. Through his music he tries to feel, move, and empower others and reaches out to different voices.
