The Greatest Commandment: Matthew 22:37 | Author: David T. Steineker
The Greatest Commandment: Mathew 22:37 New book highlights the law of the Lord PROSPECT, KY –Love the Lord your God with all your Heart, Mind and Soul is the first commandment. In The Greatest Commandment: Matthew 22:37 (published by WestBow Press), David T. Steineker, conveys the prominence of what God calls us to do daily. If you obey the first commandment, why is there a second law? Steineker believes that if the second law is mastered, love thy neighbor as thy self, the first law will become transparent. All of the law is built on the first and second commandment. Every law that follows is meant to be methods to make following the Greatest Commandment become a desire of the heart, mind, and soul. Laws that do not promote the following of the greatest commandment are age old traditions that need to be changed! (Matthew 5:17) The Greatest Commandment: Matthew 22:37 draws a parallel between the Capitol Building on the cover as a symbol of the laws by which we are governed; the scriptures state that the law is the cornerstone of government. Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God’s people and members of God’s household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. (Ephesians 2:19-20) The goal of The Greatest Commandment: Matthew 22:37 is to provide the reader with the absolute truth, in order to decide the truth based on their own free will. About the Author David T. Steineker went to a vocational school and studied carpentry. He spent two years in the army after graduating from Ballard High School in 1989. When he was honorably discharged, he enrolled at the University of Louisville. Steineker has taught Chemistry for the public school system in Jefferson County, Kentucky, for fifteen years.
