We have a 1000 square feet private heated pool just below the front terrace giving stunning views across the Grosne valley in South Burgundy, France and the medieval town of Cluny famous for its Abbey only one mile away which you can enjoy using the automobile provided for your use.
This refurbished farmhouse offers you flexible accommodation for up to 12 people with 5 double bedrooms, 4 separate toilets, 2 bathrooms with showers and 2 separate shower rooms all fully fitted.
The unique design makes it possible for two family groups to holiday separately together; one in the original Home Farmhouse, the other in the new interconnected Apartment.
There is even overflow accommodation in the Belvedere or observation tower above the garage - ideal for teenagers or sky watchers using the house telescope.
The house was built (probably during the early 1700's) into the hillside so that the upper main floor at the back opens onto a long grassed terrace leading to a small fenced vineyard and garden with another 16 acres of woodland and meadows flowing up the hillside behind the property.
The water supply (laboratory tested) for the house and pool is sourced from our own borehole 260 feet below ground and has fewer impurities than famous French brands of premium bottled water.
Besides the Abbey there is the famous National Haras (French National horse stud) and many Chateaus and Museums to satisy all tastes.
Cycling on the new Green Way, Golf and other sports are well represented.
Burgundy is justly famous for its fine wines such as Pouilly Fuisse, superb Chardonnays and places to enjoy famous French cuisine and culture.
The region and the hillside of Champ Boyer in particular support many varieties of wild life because most of the meadows have never suffered chemical treatment and also because many species are at the Northern extent of their range and are consequently seldom seen elsewhere.
