Chicana Dreamer-Introduction
Whether or not you now remember your dreams, you can discover your natural gifts and your life's purpose. Your dreams will provide you with the means to live your purpose by utilizing the methods of the ancient Dreamers. Developing awareness within the dream state, which the ancients saw as the deeper reality, provides us with the means to awaken within the dream of life, transform your reality, and receive Gifts of Power. These may be revealed as abilities to heal, create Art, Music, Dance, or see the future and the past. In keeping with tradition, these gifts then serve to empower the culture and pave the way for the next seven generations.Dream practices in Toltec, Mayan, Aztec and Native American pre-Columbian cultures are found in Chicana's Dream Journals of 25 years. Formal investigation reveals that despite the near-annihilation of the early Mayan and Aztec cultures and the twice colonization of the Chicana/o dreamer, contemporary dreamers continue to dream as their ancestors dreamed, and reveal the dream content, interpreting it for others as did their ancestral dreamers.
