Gotcha Caught in the Moment
Thanks for visiting my site.
I got started shooting sport photographs while watching my sons outdoor activities. My first Camera was an old Pentax K1000 and I wore it out. Over the years and several camera upgrades, I graduated to the digitial equipment I have today. I get a kick out of capturing action in the moment. The families and players really enjoy the photos. Everyone got a kick out of seeing the facial expressions, intensity, focus, of the athlete. It fascinates and amazes me when taking action photos how the players body finds a way to get around obsticles in the pursuit of thier goal. Thier facial expressons and body contortions say it all.

CaughtByKen started with friendly people asking if they could see the pictures I'd taken while out and about.
Frequently, I'd be asked if I could send them one of my pictures, or if I sold them.
I never really had an answer, so I'd fumble with my PDA, take their name and email address, and reach out to them.
After five years of sharing photos the hard way, I've finally decided to establish a place where I could post my images and give people the opportunity to buy them.
Frequently, I'm out and about and taking more pictures than ever. If I take a picture of you, your family, or whatever and I think it might be of interest to you, I'll give you a card with a date on it.
Take that card, and when you have time, check out the pictures on my site.
The photo is bound to be a one of a kind, candid shot that could never be reproduced, and will hopefully bring you as much enjoyment when viewing it as it did when I took it.
If you want a small version to send to your friends or family, or to post on Facebook - it's free. Somewhat of a public service.
Preferably, though - if you really like the picture, you'll buy a print for your photo album, or to frame on your wall.
I like to think of myself as a personal photojournalist at this point in time.
