Bay Street Brassworks
The brass quintet Bay Street Brassworks is an award winning brass quintet based in Baltimore, Maryland and Indianapolis, Indiana. The brass quintet is comprised of top area professionals including Glen Johnson, Trumpet, Stuart Smith, Trumpet, Dan Gosling, Trumpet, Mark Hughes, French Horn, Peggy Moran, French Horn, Brian Priebe, Trombone, Brad Koser, Trombone, Willie Clark, Tuba, Peder Maclellan, Tuba, Amin Gumbs, Percussion and Greg Herron, Percussion. The Bay Street Brassworks has performed at numerous Universities, Colleges, and for many Music Departments throughout the United States and abroad. These performers have performed with Empire Brass Quintet, Baltimore Symphony, National Symphony, and American Brass Quintet. They have performed at Tanglewood, and other various Summer Music Programs. The Bay Street Brassworks are YAMAHA Performing Artists. They are the Grand Prize winners at the 2003 New York Brass Conference Brass Quintet Competition. To their educational credit they are on the educational performing touring rosters of the United Arts Council of Raleigh / Wake County, North Carolina, Arts Council of Fayetteville Cumberland County, North Carolina, South Carolina Arts Commission, South Carolina, and various Young Audience chapters performing and educating students K -12. www.baystreetbrassworks.com
