El objetivo principal de esta conferencia es reunir a investigadores, autoridades, empresarios y organizaciones de sociedad civil de pases de todo el mundo, para definir estrategias y prioridades en el marco del envejecimiento sostenible y las tecnologas de la informacin y de la comunicacin utilizadas para cuidar a los mayores.
The main objective of this conference is bringing together researchers, authorities, business and civil society organizations from countries around the world, to define strategies and priorities within the framework of sustainable aging and ICT to elderly care.
The conference will examine the problems that prevent the introduction of services and ICT systems, and prospects for sustainable development. The problems will be addressed from the point of view of effectiveness, efficiency, sustainability and improved quality of life of elderly. It will analyze the implementation of gender mainstreaming in the field of social services and will present the research work already carried out, posing further research.
The conference will present the latest in technologically advanced systems and services to elderly care, and address the need for the implementation of e-health for older people with chronic diseases.
