Tahir is a serial entrepreneur who has established and operated a diverse range of companies around the world with his greatest achievement being in the technology sector.He began his career after studying computing at Manchester Metropolitan University in the UK and working at Loughborough University of Technology’s Computer Human Interface Research Centre (LUTCHI) on image recognition that involved Artificial Intelligence.He was later head hunted by Microsoft and become their technical lead in the UK for operating systems & programming languages but then with the advent of email he established Microsoft UK’s email, work-group and work flow support infrastructure.After resigning from Microsoft, Tahir went on to work as a consultant for Wal-mart at their head quarters in Arkansas, U.S.A and British Telecom’s Syncordia in Atlanta, U.S.A before returning back to the UK to form his own software house, namely Synentia.It was with the growth of Synentia as a multi-national that Tahir got directly involved in management, finance and marketing on an international level. He went on to study a diploma in finance and a Master’s in Marketing Management; these gave him the ability to formulate his own strategies and tactics in all his ventures.One venture worth a mention was Tahir’s chain of Apple Premium Reseller stores that pushed the boundaries of store design, aesthetics and retail. This has given him a strategic relationship with Apple and an in-depth knowledge of how to take a high value luxury brand to market.After more than two decades in the technology sector, Tahir decided to follow one of his other major interests that included fashion. He began by studying a foundation course in Art & Design in Manchester, UK and going on to be taught Fashion Design by an alumnus of Central Saint Martins (CSM), London, UK and also getting certified as a Professional Fashion Stylist at CSM and by also gaining certification as a Professional Fashion Make-Up Artist from the French Fashion University ESMOD in Dubai.Tahir today continues to offer consultancy, do fashion styling/design, make-up and establish new ventures where he is able to apply his experience and knowledge with the latest being a venture named TQ Style.
